It is my first Set-Top-Box from mainland China. I ordered it from the official site of Xiaomi. The price is CNY299.00, including tax, shipping and handling. It is sent to my parents’ home, then my mom brought it when she came here.
It is a good deal. CNY299 is about $50.

It is the back of the packing. The logos shows that it support HDMI, Dolby, dts, etc. The following description said that it has tons of movies, TV programs; supports video playing, cloud albums; supports XiaoMi mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, or computer program which can display photos or videos from the mobile device to TV.
It is the top view of the device. Clear design with MI logo only.
This is the bottom of the device. There is basic information of it. The black rubber foot makes the device stable on any surface.

I did ordered another STB of other brand, it is not look as good as XiaoMi Box. The industrial design is great. When I touch it, I know it is not a cheap one.
Look at the remote control. It has 11 keys only.
Actually I bought the TV box for my mom. I do not watch TV normally. So I cancelled Cable TV subscription. I have High Speed Internet with Cable company only.
My mom can watch TV program, real time. Because of time difference between China and Canada, she uses the function to watch TV of yesterday or even the program a few weeks ago.
