I got a new Shaw digital box. Smaller and with a big remote control.
To program all your devices, including TV, Cable box, DVD, AUD, AUX, just follow this quick setup without any code.
The setup has 7 steps.
1) Turn device on, for example, turn on TV.
2) Press Device key ( TV, DVD, etc), so press TV
3) Press and hold SETUP (LED blinks twice).
4) Press 9-9-1 (LED blinks twice).
5) Press POWER key.
6) Press CH+ repeatedly until device turns off.
7) Press SETUP when device turns off.
Just that simple.
Make sure you use same remote control as the picture above, before you use this quick setup.

I tried programming the new remote following the instructions where I use the quick method with the 911 code and now the tv turns on and off but the cable box won’t do anything. How do I get both tv and cable to work with the remote?.

I did all these steps and my remote still doesn’t work to change the volume. The mute works and it turns the tv on and off, but I cannot change the volume.

The remote has two CH+ buttons – the blue one about centre right, and the black one at bottom right. Are they interchangeable?
Also, the remote correctly turns the TV on and off, but if I plug a USB flash drive into the LG TV, it displays “Press enter to see movies from the USB”, but it seems as if the “OK/Select” button has set setup to always activate CBL when it is pushed. So I can’t select the USB input! Any thoughts?

Why can’t i find this info from shaw? They dont even have the atlas remote manual on their support page… wtf shaw?

I can’t program my Shaw remote with my TV/VCR combo and I’ve looked everywhere, the only reason I want to is so I can play Xbox 360 but we’ve lost the remote somewhere and it has somehow reset itself to TV mode, but before it was set to AV mode and we had our Shaw cable box on AV mode too so we wouldn’t have to look for the remote

i don’t know what happen but i can’t change to other channel anymore as if it was locked to only one channel. it’s not responding when i change to other channell! is there any specified button that i have to press just to be back to the way it was before?

somehow I pushed the wrong button on my remote. After pushing settings to record a program, rather than have the record button, it now has PPV, favorites, sports, search, HD, and VCR timers. How to I get back to the other settings screen on my settings button?
