It is a sad news. I use LogMeIn for many years. I used it to do the troubleshooting on my parents in law’s computer remotely. They live in San Francisco.
Today, I sign in LogMeIn account and saw this news.
To continue using remote access, you’ll need to purchase an account subscription of LogMeIn Pro. Only 7 days left!
I still have the activation email from LogMeIn on Dec 28, 2007.
It is so hard to say farewell to LogMeIn. Especially when you have it for more than Six years.
Anyway, I still need the similar program which can help me to remote control the computers. Still looking for the free program.
I have to go to the competitor of LogMeIn, TeamViewer.
Yeah, its really sad news that Logmein free is going away. I used to be a huge fan of Logmein; but as free version is going away, I have discovered an alternative to Logmein: RHUB`s remote support appliance. It provides better security and is easy to use as well.

Yeah… I like teamviewer, but you know it is not free for commercial use, so.., any other suggestions?
I use Teamviewer for my personal use. I don’t think there is a free commercial software for remote control. For my business, I use Linux OS on server, so SSH is free. No desktop on it.

Thanks for the heads up about Teamviewer. I will follow you there.
