My wife’s computer is about nine years old. I got the motherboard and CPU in San Francisco when my family was with my parents-in-law. It is an Intel i5 6500 and an Asus H110M-C. I know it has been over eight years, but it still works well. Except I can not upgrade it to Windows 11. I like to keep everything updated and in a working condition. Not run something until it has failed without looking after it.

So, I searched for deals and bought a refurbished PC from Bestbuy.ca. Actually the marketplace.

I did believe it was a good deal. I made an order. It was shipped from Scarborough, a city on the other side of Canada. I setup the computer and used it for a couple of hours. Then boom, it is shutdown just like a power outage.  I tried a few things. Such as a different power cord, different outlet, and even pulling the memory stick and putting it back. Nothing good.

So, I returned it. I got a UPS label and dropped it at Staples.

The next day, I looked at my research. I saw a PC at Costco.ca. It is $798.99 there. I searched the module online, it is $765 at Bestbuy and $749.99 at MemoryExpress. I checked the inventory of MemoryExpress. The Burnaby store has four at the time.

Then one more day passed. I drove to the store and walked in. Say, Hi friend, please give me a desktop, Aspire TC-1775-UR12. The staff checked it at the station and told me that he would go into the back of the store to grab one.

I got one, paid with my credit card, $840.77 including tax.

Opened the box.

Now, the PSU is so small.

This ACER ASPIRE TC-1775-UR12 Desktop PC comes with an ACER USB Wired Keyboard and an ACER USB Wired Mouse! ( I did not use them. I have Logitec wireless keyboard and Mi wireless mouse.)
