At my house, I have a regular range, four burners. The one in the lower right corner is used every day.
One day my daughter found it is not working. I pull the burner from the range, I saw the contact has a burning issue. It should not be.
The burner contact should be shining.
It is easy to buy a new one from a local store, such as Walmart, Canadian Tire, Homedepot, etc.
The receptacle was also overheated because of bad contact between metal parts.
But it is hard to buy the burner receptacle at these stores. I did buy one from Homedepot, but it was not good for my range. So, I returned it right away.
I ordered the new burner receptacle kits. And a heat Gun.

Each kit includes two wires, one plastic part, two metal attachments for different ranges, two white wire gards, and two heat shrink wraps.
I need a heat gun to shrink the wrap.
At last, I did not remove the metal mounting bracket, because I can not unscrew the old one. So I just took down the old plastic receptacle part and cut the wires.
Connect the new wires to the existing wires then use wire gard to make sure it is connected well. Then use a heat gun to shrink the wrap to protect the connection.
Put the new one into the metal shield. Done.
Oh, I forgot to mention that: before I did all these above, I disconnected the power.

The Receptacle kits I bought from Amazon.ca is currently unavailable. Anyway, I put the link here for reference.
The only problem I found is that it does not include a mounting screw. The product picture shows it, but the package has none.
