I found some of my articles are copied and posted on the other sites without my permission. They even do not follow my CC license.
I use “Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Canada” license in this Blog.
It means anybody can copy, distribute, display, and perform my work, if he follow my conditions as below:
Attribution. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by me
Noncommercial. You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
No Derivative Works. You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work.
Someone faile to follow the copyright law. They don’t care it.
What do I do? If I find my article is stolen.
Let me introduc some ways to solve it:
1) If the page which infringed my copyrighted work can be searched by Google, ( It means Google indexed this file), I will send a writen notification to Google by fax.
The notice should use a special format. Go Google to get this format.
2) If the page on which site have Google AdSense (one site revenue way), you can notice Google AdSense support followed by the step 1. Then email to adsense-support@google.com.
3) If you have a lot of time, you can contact the site owner, to ask him or her to remove the pages infringed your works.
The results may vary.
